I’m so excited to share this fun spring shirt dress today because it’s probably one of my favorite outfits this season!
I’m always so hesitant to order shirt dresses because I never know if they’re going to look cute or not. Because it’s a “shirt dress”, sometimes they’re not super flattering because they just fall flat and don’t accentuate anything. But when I saw that this dress not only has stripes (my absolute favorite!) but also a tie around the waist, I was sold! With the waist tie, it synchs up the waist to give you a little bit of a figure and viola!
And I have a fun and surprising little secret! These gladiator sandals? Yeah, they’re kids’ sandals! (Insert super surprised emoji here.) Oftentimes these days, kids clothing is even more stylish than the women’s section! Maybe because women are more likely to purchase more stuff for their kiddos than they are for themselves? Whatever the reason, I’m okay with it because it means that not only do I have more shoe options when I go shopping, but the kids’s section is always a little cheaper too!
And yes, I am petite and have small feet (I’m a size 6), but don’t be discouraged if you wear a larger size. Women with shoe sizes all the way up to size 9 can still shop in the kids’ section!
I did a whole post all about how to convert your shoe size to girls’ along with some super cute shoe options for you!
Anyway, back to the spring shirt dress. How perfect is this outfit for spring? Nothing says “spring style” like breezy dresses, sandals, and a panama hat!
